RRCUS ADVISORS For general questions about the Breed, please contact a RRCUS Member from the list below. These members are located in various areas of the United States. All of the individuals on this list have volunteered to be available to provide information and answer questions about the breed. Each has met the following qualifications: 1. RRCUS Member in good standing for a minimum of ten years. 2. Willing to share knowledge and provide guidance through an open exchange of information in a positive manner. 3. Must possess knowledge of the background, history and function of the breed. 4. Must have raised at least one litter and have bred, owned or shown at least four Ridgebacks to an AKC Championship (Conformation & Performance) 5. Supports the Breed Standard, the Elaboration and the Illustrations of the Standard as elaborated. 6. Has personal experience in exhibiting and/or eventing Ridgebacks in conformation or performance events. 7. Enjoys interacting with people new to the breed in a clear, patient, positive and impartial manner. 8. Possesses a flexible schedule in order to accommodate the responsibility of the position. 9. Has attended and completed, in its entirety, a RRCUS sponsored Judges Breed seminar.

RRCUS MENTORS Members of the Education Committee will serve as Breed Mentors. Breed Mentors will be responsible for giving the RRCUS endorsed breed presentation to All Breed Clubs, AKC judges study groups, potential judges, and at our National Specialty. Breed Mentors will provide ringside mentoring for judges and potential judges. Members of the Education Committee will review and vote on Breed Advisor applications. The RRCUS BOD shall approve the actions of the Education Committee. Education committee applicants will be voted on by the Education Committee and approved by the RRCUS BOD. Complaints concerning either Education Committee members or Breed Advisors will be heard by the RRCUS BOD. QUALIFICATIONS FOR BREED MENTOR 1. Minimum of ten years breeding Rhodesian Ridgebacks. 2. Produced a minimum of five conformation champions. 3. Have bred a pedigree of at least three generations 4. Promise to uphold the Standard in the most objective and impartial way. 5. Have served as a breed advisor for a minimum of two years.
